alright, im completely new to areos so i need some advice. i'll have 3.89 cubs to work with after displacement of the motor, and i need to put some areos on it to tune that to about 48Hz to 50Hz. what size and length should i look for?

I assume you mean "aeros" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Use the formula for area of a circle to get your port area. With winisd or the like, enter this as your port area.

The equation is (Pi)*(r^2).

That's 3.14 multiplied by your (radius squared).

For a 4 inch port, 3.14 * (2^2) = 12.something. However, most will agree that aero ports actually behave like they are a bit larger. A 4" port usually acts more like a 4.4 inch port. I found this seemed pretty true when I had my SX with 3 aeros. So in the above equation, use 2.2 instead of 2.0.

Again, worked well for me when I had my SX.
