need suggestion other then KDC-X994

Im close to pulling the trigger on the kenwood 994, but it has one major missing feature. Buttons for preset radio stations. You have to press a button, and scroll down the screen. Not ideal when on the move.

I;m looking for other options

Requirements

- single din

- Built in bluetooth

- 3 pre-outs (front/rear/sub)

- sirius radio ability

- iphone 3g/3gs control with charging

- BUTTONS for radio stations (presets for quick selection)

prefer but not essential

- variable colour option

- 4 volt preouts

- full eq

Other then the KDC-X994 - what other decent quality decks should I be looking for?

---

Rest of system for reference

Kenwood XR-4S - 4 channel

Kenwood XR-1S - mono

Focal 165VR component

JL 12W3v3-4ohm

Kenwood/Excelons were better a few years ago,5V pre outs and easy to use buttonsThe newer stuff I am afraid to try - just looks like a PITA
I just picked up a new Excellon and I'm pretty happy so far. Really my big issue with all the head units in the last 15 years or so has been the reliability issues. I don't plan for any of them to last more than 2 years and budget accordingly.

Most Companies have went from quality to quantity.. using cheaper parts, designs or half-*** production to cut costs.. sad you pay premium money for a product that is no better than the lower end products.

I think you can set your stations to favorites and scroll through them by turning your knob, at least that's how the 693/993 is supposed to work, never tried it though.

I bought the KDC mp528 I have in 2005, I love it, it still runs and sound great, tho once per winter you have to take the case off and blow it out with canned air, other than that its 100% perfect. My newish kenwood testimonial lol

I have the x693 and it's good. Only problem is the speakers distort like shit when I have the volume up high for several minutes. It gets extremely muddy. Not sure if it's the onboard amp getting hot or what. Never had this problem with the cheap *** DUAL that was in the before.
