Need sub(s) that can handle 2500rms

The most the 2500d was putting out in your application is approx 1800 watts...

Why only 1800 watts? The amp does 2500 watts rms @ 1ohm and at a rated 13.8v and I was running it @ .5 ohm.

Oh and btw guys... i build his box plans... Raisedin305 goes to school with me, hes hard headed... reason why he blew his sub was cuz of the following...

As soon as he was done with the box he just hooked everything up and played the sub... he didnt adjust the settings or anything... he was coming from 2 separate 1.3cuft ebay boxes... H/U sub was set at +11 and bass at +14 i belive thats what i saw when i sat in his car... i told him that he should of turned everything down.. inseatd of just pop n play..

Lets say the amp WAS putting out 2800-3000w at .5 wich u werent bcuz of impedance rise and stock electrical system, u prolly were putting out around 2000w.. anyways, L7's should handle that... but when u put them in a BIGGER box they will need less power to ge louder.. like i told u and since u had ur HU settings all the way up u clipped the hell out of ur shit man..

he doesnt have a stock electrical. right now we are gettin close 2 3.5kw out the orion 2500d. **** i love this amp. raisedin305, u not gonna see that power if u dont have the juice for the amp. juss running at .5ohm doesnt mean u gonna be gettin more power, if u dont have the juice for the amp, its not worth the money, invest in the 1200d. u'll be getting the same power.

I left the gains the way you had set them and I had the sub at +11 and Bass all the way down. You told me to go ahead and connect everything

Because like i said above, you cant just change the subs from one box to another and still give them the same power wich it was over powering them already... takes less power in a bigger enclosure...
