Ok, if you had two 15" L7s DVC 2 would you run them at .5 ohm or no with the Orion 2500?

no.. apparently you couldn't keep from cooking them the first time.. second time will be the same results... i'm telling you DD=GOD!!

What about if you had the DVC 4 instead of DVC 2?

I know I was like wtf. When I opened my trunk all I see is smoke coming out of the port and then I undrilled the sub that was hard (1 sub is hard like a rock doesnt move in or out, the other moves in or out but makes melting sound kinda like something being grilled) a bunch of smoke came out.

Orion 2500

Jensen headunit ( @ 11+ sub out of 14+)

0 gauge wire

300amp stinger fuse

(2) 4 gauge power wire

(2) 4 gauge ground wire

Stock 05 ford eddie bauer expedition electrical system

7.8 cubic ft ported box tunned to 36hz

Subs running in parallel

Im with Chesseburger and SBlazer... Get some DD's and you wont be sorry. Hell 1 9915 would absolutely pound! I say go for it. There not the world record holders for nothing!

polecat .. i was just joking man... you should know i love kicker.. i have bought tons of kicker stuff and will do so in the future.. however i love my dd..

lol by the way how long does it take kicker to repair an amp? i have my zr360 in there now and i'm sending a money order out tomorrow for the repair costs.. and i'm just curious about their turn around times..

I might get a hold of two DVC 4 15" L7s. Now I'll run it at 1 ohm instead of .5ohm. If it were up to you guys would you run that setup?

Im also very interested in a 18" Solo X but im not sure of that right now, unless I can get a good deal on it.

Could an improper built box have blown my subs or that just messes up the sound waves? Could a stock electrical system like mine ruin my system (05 ford expedition, 130amp alt, 630 cca battery) I didnt have no headlights or nothing else running when I was testing the subs on. Windows were down, headlights off, every light off.
