need sub and amp for ~$250

my neighbor asked me to find him a sub setup for his golf. his budget is $250 but he might be a lil flexible. doesnt matter how many subs just as long as it fits in the hatch of his car. i would like to keep it above 400watts cont. what yall got?

cadence is in rough physical shape with the carbon fiber on it scratched up..the chrome is fine...works and performs like the day i bought it though $300 plus shipping takes it...2000+@1 ohm

i just sold 2 of my other amps so i have most of the money i need to pay off my ticket so i can give this amp to you for 95 shipped, out of the goodness of my heart. One of the best amps ive owned, just ask anyone who's ever owned one of these. Very underrate imho. Heres a pic:

I can do $250 (+ ship of your choice) for JBL P180.2 (class A/B 180W RMS x2 @ 2 Ohm or 360W RMS slightly under-rated bridged x1 into 4 Ohm) and an MTX Thunder 7000 single 4 Ohm 10". Perfect match.

(enclosure not included)

Amp has line-level and speaker-level inputs and auto on/off when using speaker level inputs for easy factory upgrade. Would make a great full-range 2 channel amp, for components, when it's time for upgrade.

Both are in perfect condition with no scratches, no mechanical or cosmetic damage. I don't think I have original papers or boxes, but if I find them in the garage, they'll ship with them. I'm the original owner.

Subwoofer can be ported or sealed.

I may consider including ground shipping on the sub/amp combo.

I'd happily throw in the box since I'm building new for the wife this weekend, but I'm not shipping that big ol' thing, and shipping cost will likely exceed what you'd want to pay for it. It's built heavy to virtually eliminate enclosure resonation.

i think that would be a very easy/cheap repair on the rockford- therefore you can get an amp that costs over 200 at most places for alot less
