Need SQ sub ~$100

I have no clue where to go with my system, keep being told to peice a system together then told to go with a powered sub. I want a single 10 or possibly 8 if there is a good one that will perform well in a small sealed enclosure installed in the trunk. I am not looking for big bass, really don't even want to feel it inside the car, as long as it is heard. What do you recommed? I don't have the amp, so I will be getting one after I choose a sub. Thanks for any recommendations.

How small of a box are you talking about? The Dayton DVC12 does nicely in ~1 cu ft sealed... it only needs a couple hundred watts to get decent output, and is $115+ shipping. http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&Partnumber=295-185
