I'm trying to face my oa 15 forward wand prated forward. but i only have a little over 16 inches to work with. plus I'm doing double baffling. angling the face of the box will affect the tuning and such. but I'm having the box built for me anyways. and I'm using aero ports. so does it really make that much of a difference?

Have the baffles cover the whole face of the box so you can use as much of the height as you can on a single board (this will make assembling it easier and prevent splitting when you attach the sub, because you don't be attaching the sub right at a seam between the top piece and the baffle)

yeah ill try that but will angling the face even if I'm using aeros affect the tuning and sq / spl?

If we are talking about termlab SPL yes tilting the sub may mess with your score, but for an everyday setup it's not going to matter.

yea my cruze box was angled with the 2 4inch ports firing forward and i still managed a 150.6 on 2500w but my box was completely seal off from the trunk save for the 3inches inbetween the back seat and the box itself. and since the seat was always folded down anyway i still scored good with the seats up it was like a 147 though

my seats are always down. but i can't seal off my trunk. wanna sell the car someday. the box will take up most of the space that the opening of my seat makes.

stuff the sides of the box with old rags to seal it then . hell i had a 2011 cruze and all i really did was make a baffle that fit the opening pretty tight then used some old tire tubing to seal of the remaining cracks

If you can go 16" high then why can't you do a flat baffle? I did a 15" Q in a 15 1/2" tall box with a flush mount, sub goes from top to bottom on the baffle...
