Hi, I need am exchanging my amp out, i need some suggestions on an amp that will power a 10" JL W7 sub in a sealed box. I am looking for a pretty quality amp, my price range is 300-400$, pls help me pick a decent amp that will push this sub good.

I am eyeing the alpine PDX 1000.1 amp, will this amp run at 3 ohms? since the sub is a SVC 3ohm?

Ya that amp will run at 3 ohms. My friend has a 10w7 with a JL 500/1, and it sounds pretty good.

yea, i picked up a JL audio XD.600/1 amp and i was pushing 500 watts rms to it, it just didn't feel like enough power, it was bumping, but not like it should, so thats why i was eyeing the pdx1000.1, its cheaper then the 1000/1 jl amp and put out the same amount of watts at 3ohms, only thing is, the pdx is not 1 ohm stable, but thats fine with me, i don't think my car can handle 2 w7's anyways.
