Need some opinions on upgrading battery

Hi,

I own an VW Amarok 2013 (2.0 twin turbo, highlander), I upgraded the stock stereo with follwing,

Headunit: AVH-X4500BT

Front Components: Hertz HKS165

Back Coaxials: Hertz HCX165

Subwoofer: JL Audio 10TW3-D4

Subwoofer amp: JL Audio XD600/1v2

Speaker amp: JL Audio 300/4v3

Atm im using the stock battery (that i dont know the specs), seems the battery slot can fit bigger batteries, it has like a plastic block from the end of the mount to my battery to fit the battery that came from factory.

The only place that i saw some info is Carac, that has some measurements

Height: 190 mm (same as mine)

Length: 354 mm (mine is smaller, around 280mm to what i measured)

Width: 175 mm (same as mine)

Im looking to upgrade the battery over the stock, inside the hood where the battery goes seems it can fit longer batteries, it even has a plastic shim to secure the smaller stock battery, so was thinking on the following, to what i can see have the same placement and similar specs.

XS Power D4800

Battery Specifications

Maximum Output: 3000 Amps

Amp Hours: 60

From what i can tell, the D4900 has the same measurements as the Carac spec, and the D4800 seems to have the same measurements as the stock factory, but wanted your guys opinions into what do you guys recommend?

Thanks for opinions and advise,

You shouldn't need anything out of the ordinary to support 1000W worth of JL amps.

I don't know if you have access to Sears down there, but their Die Hard Platinum is a great battery with an amazing warranty.

IMO unless you're chasing numbers in a DB Drag or similar competition circuit that limits batteries you should just get an AGM battery from a local auto-parts store that has a decent (2-3 year) warranty, that way if something goes wrong you can actually exchange it without having to pay 2 way international shipping.

How's that equipment all working out for you by the way? Can you post up some pics?
