First off, thanks for any suggestions.
I have a 2009 dodge 1500 crew cab. I've been trying to decide what the hell I want to for my highs and it's driving me insane. I will be building sealed fiberglass pods for all four doors, they will be place where the 6x9 slot is on the bottom corner of the door panel.
I can fit two 5 1/4 with tweets or one 6 1/2 with tweet and crossover per door. They will be powered off a kx850.4. By no means am I sq guy, but I want them to sound clean and get fairly loud. I will have an MX15 in a 6 cube single reflex bp for my sub set up.
My don't want to spend more than $700
I'm looking at:
2 sets of Kicker QS652
2 set of Alpine Spx 17pros
2 sets of XXXs
2 sets of JBL MKIIs
4 sets of PPI 355cs
CDT, Focal....i mean whatever. Heck, i've even considered getting mids and tweets from parts express....I'm lost lol. I know everyone has there own taste when it comes to highs/mids. I just would like some advice to what would sound decent and handle the power I have.
thanks,
Robert Marks
