Need some killer 2 x 12" subs and amp.

Any recommendation?

Will be fitting 2 x 12" in my 1999 honda civic hatchback.

If it matters, I listen to alot of electronic music.

Price range? Something cheeper than the typeR's I can buy here in iceland(~400$ each).

2ohms or 4ohms? I prefer sq over power, so 4ohms?

he had a post for this last week.dont think it can be over 100 in shipping for a sub that weighs say 30lbs . i just sent a stetsom amp to austria and it cost $65 thru the usps .so we need a address to figure out shipping first.that would give us an idea of what subs

yeah, even to ship to hawai via ups it was $54 dollars to ship out a fosgate p1000-1bd, and the box isn't that large or heavy maybe 20lbs.

I am not exacly shipping the subs, I will take them with me home - that's cheaper.

Mylows10, I told you about a guy I know that did the same thing a few years ago(I did in the other tread, didn't I?).

I just asked him, he payed about 200$ for the boxes for the subs.

Buy 1 good neo motor 15" Won't kill you on weight and will outperform any pair of ceramic motor 12's you could possibly afford.

I would also reccomend Stetsom amp since they make a lot of power in a very small package.

Fi BTL Neo, TC3hp based sub, come to mind. May be a couple others. I know theres a neo RE motor on here for 160 ish. You could probably build that up for 350 450 if you wanted to get real exotic with basket and cone.

Woops! America is ofcourse a continent. I will be going to USA and staying in FL for two weeks in a rented house. Will be shipping all the stuff there.

It's an ok budget amp. Me personally have had bad lunch with max sonics products I can do a new dx 1.2 for 340 shipped to Florida or 600 shipped for dc 2.0 both bnib with warranty. If you have the cash I would get something more reliable. In the you do get what you pay for

I think I will just buy all the stuff from woofersetc, dont really feel like going through the extra trouble.
