Okay, i'm building a ported box for a single 12" dual 2 ohm alpine type r (yeah i know not another type r question). I will be running a hifonics brutus 1500d on it at 1 ohm. The box is going in a 92 honda accord ex and will be ported through the rear deck ( 2 - 4" aero ports). Right now the design is currently at 3 cu ft. Is this too big of a box for this application should i knock it down to 2.5 or should increase the box size and also after desiding on the cu ft. what length does the ports need to be (shooting between 31-34 hz) have about 17" of port length per port to work with heres a quick sketchup design. STUPID ME it's the type r 12. swr-1222d. Alot of people use 2.2-2.5 cu ft. per chamber and i was wondereing if anyone has expiremented with a 3 ft cu box or higher
