YES absolutely...Kicker is not known for sound quality where Alpine is and the PDX's are no exception. They sound great, are small, run efficiently, and put out a good amount of power. I don't know what you Kicker is putting out but I am sure it is comparable in watts to the alpine. If it is then the PDX should be an improvement in SQ as long as you have a good deck.

I don't think the difference in sound quality, if any, would be noticeable. I love the PDX amps though, mostly because of their size and stackability.
