Need some help

I have been out of car audio for awhile and i dont know whats good anymore. I have a 2007 bmw 3 series and the stock sub just isnt cutting it. I dont need any thing that gets ridiculously loud, just louder than stock. SQ is important to me. What would be a good solution for a resonably priced sq sub? Thanks in advance.

Your question was straight forward and worded quite well. The funny thing about that is that you're inviting the folks on the forum to get flamed to death like a Tibetan monk in China for typing in their favorite subwoofer for your application. Whether or not it could be the perfect subwoofer for your application; they'll get flamed. The best bet is for you to search the forum for multiple other threads that basically asked the same question and filter out all of the flaming to get a small list of recommended SQ subwoofers. Once you have that list; add it to this thread and ask which ones the readers would use if it were there BMW. That is a much safer way to ask the same question. Yes, it's sad to think that's the way things are; but that's the way things are.
