need some help wit subs

hey, need some help wit my system....right now i have 4 adire audio tempest runnin off of 2 jbl 1200.1's

ive had this setup for almost a year and a couple of the subs are startin to give out, one vc already blew

im lookin for some suggestions...... i was thinkin of just gettin some new tempests to replace the ones that are broken but i wanna get somethin around the same price range thatll maybe hold up a lil better with the amps than the tempests did and be a lil louder

i was lookin at kicker comp vr's, what do u think?

any other suggestions as to which subs i should look into

the box is 4 seperate chambers and they are about 2.0 cubes per chamber

RE SE's come to mind ... a little more than $150 though ... closer to $200. Kicker L5/L7's are pretty darn cheap on Ebay as well.

By the way, how do you like the Tempests?

i loved the tempests.....when all 4 were runnin at the same time it got very LOUD everyone always asked me what kinda suns they were cause they were amazed at how loud they were but at the same time how clean they sounded......unfortunately they started givin out due to all the power goin to em.....

i need subs that r prolly no more than $150 due to monetary constraints(i just bought the pioneer 7500dvd deck right b4 the subs started screwin up)

also i not really lookin at the solobarics cause bunch of people by me got em already, plus i wouldnt be able to afford 4 of em

also anyone know the specs of the se's and for anyone thats an authorized dealer are there any deals for buyin 4 or more like adire has for the tempests??

i thought tempests were 750rms? u shouldnt be blowing the subs even if u were overpowering them by a bit.

i have SE's. They probly wouldnt sound as good as ur tempests but they would probly get louder. i would get 2 15's and put em in a big ported box. that would be nutz.
