need some help think I messed up(single hds212)

I have a single hds212 D4 ohm sub that I don't think is at its full potential cause I think I made a mistake on building the box. What I built is a slot ported box with overall 2.63 cu.ft. box minus port and sub which should be 2.28cu.ft. The port is 14"x2.60" x21" long which should be tuned to 33-34 htz. I'm running a clean 700-750watts at 2ohms into it and I just think its not hitting like it should my Memphis pr12 sounded better. Ive had it for almost two months after it broke in a little it might be better but no real change. Just need some help or suggestions of what is wrong or a new box help. Thanks

Something doesn't sound right, unless you offered up internal dimensions. If your slot port is along the 14" dimension and you gave external dimensions, then the vent is only 12.5". Some clarification would be nice.

That said, if you posted internal dimensions, your box is only 1.96 cubes net, which makes your tuning 39Hz.
