NEED some help here with PAYPAL!!!! I got SCREWED!!!

Ok...Heres the short story of it......

I sold a racing quad & was paid via paypal.

I sold the guy a 2006 Yamaha YFZ450......The guy sent me 1/2 via paypal & the other half when he got here...the total was $9k......I had $22k in the quad......

the sale took place on 7/29/07.....Now on the 9/3/07, he files a claim stating he didnt receive anything on the $4,500.00...this is OVER a month since he bought the quad.

Now I faxed paypal the bill of sale, all paperwork, etc...but they still came up with some bullshit excuse.......I even called the state finance & administration department & had them call paypal but paypal still decided in the buyers favor.....so now my account is in the negative!!!!!

Now I am getting people who I have bought stuff form email me & asking why I filed a claim on them but I never filed anything......paypal wont tell me shit!!!!!

they tried to locked me out of my account..........

I need some help here....Any info or help is GREATLY appreciated.......

Since PayPal is refusing to help, your only recourse is to get the bunghole you sold the Yammie to back out his claim by putting some pressure on him.

I would tell the cops that he stole the Yammie (not far from the truth since that is what he is telling PayPal) and then tell them where he is, time for him to enjoy a little drama I think.

Absolutely- report the quad stolen, say you know who took it etc. Then talk to the Better Business Buruea, and tell them everything too. Make sure to include copies of all communication and bill of sale, etc. The BBB should have an office nearby, just stop in with your stuff. They lean on paypal- you don't have to.

also call your bank imediatly and put a freezed on your account for anything to do with paypal. and basically the guy did steal the quad if he got his money back. make sure you get ahold of the fraud department of the police investigations and make sure they have copies of all the paperwork.

all those sounds liek good things to do.

if all else fails. Just never use paypal again. And why is it filing claims on everyone you bought stuff from, thats pretty weird. Did your shit get jacked or something.

I would defintely not use paypal in a vehicle transaction though. Cash should have been it.

I have contacted the cid department here.....i gave them the bill of sale with his signature, name,date, etc......

I showed them what is going on with paypal also.....

I have called my bank & told them to NOT authorize any withdrawels from my account.....

I faxed paypal all documents & told them but they are ****ing RETARDS!!!

They wont help with shit

i didnt think it was a big deal...the guy called me, & asked if he could send half through paypal, & he would give me the other half when he picked it up........

Well it is supposed to be secure. From now on, I won't sell stuff over $100 via paypal unless it's someone I really trust.
