NEED some help here with PAYPAL!!!! I got SCREWED!!!

Well it is supposed to be secure. From now on, I won't sell stuff over $100 via paypal unless it's someone I really trust.
yeah I dont either... I think the biggest purchase ive ever made was for $800 on there. Not enough to put me in debt if I lost it, ya know ?

but yeah, paypal FTL. Id imagine in a few more years the FCC, FTC or congress get involved in regulating these turkey's.

paypal is the reason why there are Internet Fraud commercials.

if it weren't for paypal, there would be a lotta lost money orders and cash only deals.

Buying isn't really the issue to me. I don't feel comfortable selling anymore due to these false claims.

I figure a few more people begin complaining to the FTC and we may have some good regulations.

As a buyer, no issue with paypal. But if I lose a sale due to not accepting paypal, then I simply lose the same. I am not taking the risk.

Thats what im kinda hoping. The self regulation shit isnt working, its almost if not as bad as the big 3 credit reporting agencies. Those fuckers are crooked as hell and could care less if your data is straight.

I don't get how paypal can say "we don't believe you" when you have state documentation of sale, with signature...addresses and such. Seriously, a cheap attorney would rip them a new one on how ****ing stupid they're acting. Best of luck.

this might sound harsh, but wtf were you thinking selling something that costs that much thru paypal ?
exactly my thoughts. Theres no way.

i didnt think it was a big deal...the guy called me, & asked if he could send half through paypal, & he would give me the other half when he picked it up........
Always cash on vehicles. Or escrow or something. bank check. Lesson leanred. I hope.

paypal ftl... never had a problem online buying or selling for over ten years till this year.... got screwed by dom (iraggi) for over $400 and an ebayer for $140 and now recently an amp i purchased on ebay that was not even close to described correctly... I canceled my paypal a while back and only use my dads now when i have to... Money orders are way more safe and secure... Plus money orders dont cost upwards of 4% +

yeah im still waiting on the investigation shit to get over with. in the meantime im saving up since i know i, the seller, would prolly lose to a product not described.

as far as money orders, im doing MoneyGram and im not really sure what kinda mail services i should use.

Ok...Heres the short story of it......I sold a racing quad & was paid via paypal.

I sold the guy a 2006 Yamaha YFZ450......The guy sent me 1/2 via paypal & the other half when he got here...the total was $9k......I had $22k in the quad......

the sale took place on 7/29/07.....Now on the 9/3/07, he files a claim stating he didnt receive anything on the $4,500.00...this is OVER a month since he bought the quad.

Now I faxed paypal the bill of sale, all paperwork, etc...but they still came up with some bullshit excuse.......I even called the state finance & administration department & had them call paypal but paypal still decided in the buyers favor.....so now my account is in the negative!!!!!

Now I am getting people who I have bought stuff form email me & asking why I filed a claim on them but I never filed anything......paypal wont tell me shit!!!!!

they tried to locked me out of my account..........

I need some help here....Any info or help is GREATLY appreciated.......

I am about to take a raod trip & get my money or quad back or something........//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif
If you have a signed bill of sale then get an atorney and take it to court. For 4.500 it is the only way to get resolved.
