Like I said, I've got a nice 15" one up in Maine D1.4 ohm if you've got space for a large box.

They look better as 12s IMO.

At that point you've gained absolutely nothing but weight for all that extra magnet. Anything bigger than the 4hp (10" diameter 3 1" slugs) does not gain, or gains so very little that it's absolutely not worth the money/weight/hassle. Do you guys think that the clown who had China build that silly thing was the first one to think "hey, what if I stack another few slugs on my motor?" This has been tested in prototype well over a decade ago. If you don't need that extra clearance there's no reason to stack that tall, and even if you do need some extra clearance, you can do bumped back plate. DD 95 motor is a great example, they're still one of the top dog ceramic motors and they're not even 10" diameter.
