ok so i have an external HD and i wanna set it up so that when i DL frostwire it saves to my external, and all the music is also downloaded there. can anybody tell me how to do it with vista? thanks much

u want the music to save in ur external ?? if so go under option in frostwire and change the save info to ur external

Just go into options and change your save folder to your external Hdd

you need to pour water on your harddrive while it is hooked up

then reboot and go to your bios and change the shit.

when it sparks you will know it worked.

but yea i need to get my frostwire completely on my external and none of the files on my actual computer is there a way to do this?

Yeah, you can drag and drop the main folder from 'Progam Files' in the C:\ drive to your external. (Example = Frostwires folder would be C:\Program Files\Frostwire, you'd drag that frostwire folder to your external drive.) Your current shortcuts would have to be deleted, and new ones created. You can also choose where to install when you first install the program. You can't just install a program on the external drive, and use it on any computer though. Certain .dll files would have to be registered on each different computer. Which, if you don't know how to change the save folder in frostwire, you may want to do a LOT of reading before attempting that. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif With some programs, it is possible to just drag and drop the program folder to the external and use it on any computer also, but a lot of the times, you won't be able to just simply do that.
