Need some build ideas for an 05 1500 z71, short box, reg cab....?

Yeah, mounting depth can be a *****. All of the ones I listed should be under 6.5'' with the ixls being well under 6'' I think. My box is pretty much the dimensions I listed above and my lv4xl is 6.5'' deep with a 8.75'' motor width and it fits fine and has about an inch for the pole vent to breathe (will depend on how low or high you mount the sub on the box).

nice man, thanks for the input....he hasn't even gotten his taxes back yet, but I'm hopin he will give let me get him something nice goin. He just bought a yamaha yfz450, $400 phone, ipod, and now the truck...says he needs to stop spending...but now just the system and done

Anytime man. Reg cab trucks are frustrating because there isn't much room but it's very possible to get a loud setup in there....it just depends on how much room he's willing to give up.
