Need some build ideas for an 05 1500 z71, short box, reg cab....?

Well my buddy just picked one up. Not a lot of space, but lets see what has been done.

was thinkin of 4 e8, and come ID ctx comps up front...sq system..

He like loud too, but will be hard with the truck and he's tall so need the leg room

There is plenty of room in that truck, well compared to most reg cabs. Look up chevyaudio's builds, he knew how to get real loud in those style trucks. I think you should go with a pair of 10s ported. 2 to 2.5 cubes with the port firing towards the passenger side and a pair of 10'' of your choice would be sweet.

6'5" is tall. Im 5'8" and i fit fine with room to spare. My dad is 6'2" and he doesn't sit very comfortably. I can get pics within the next few days... My uncle has my camera. If i remember right my box dimesions were 49"wide, 8"deep, and 10" tall. 1.5 cubes at 38hz.

Can you find out the max amount of space he's willing to give up? Make sure he figures in a spot for his amps too.

For example: 30'' wide x 20'' tall x 10'' bd x 5'' td

I will be checkin it out. Gonna take a look at the truck this weekend. He says there is more room than he thought. Figures 2 10's prolly

but as for amp, he is thinkin of using his RF 1000.1bd....puts out about 1600 @ 1 I believe

Icons, lethal injections, DC lv4s, Fi q or ssd, ixl, I'm probably leaving out a bunch of other subs that can do what he's looking for.

those are some that I have thought.....too bad he couldn't use the 15" axis he has already.

Main thing im worried about is mounting depth, and having enough room to be ported
