Need some brains, can you help me?

I have a 1994 deville and I wired the car to put in 2 amps but for the life of me I cant get the car to stop whining and catching all the noises from the vehicle. I have 4 gauge hot wire running through the side of the car underneath the carpet, a remote wire and 3 sets of rca's. The rca's are ran on the seperate side of the car. At first I thought maybe it was the cheaper rca 's I had chosen so I bought some top of the line stinger and it still is picking up the noise. Even when I shut the car off I get a popping crack sound through the speakers. Noise filters do nothing for the problem as I have tried 2 different ones. I checked all connections and made sure the ground was stable. Anyone ever have any problems even close to this? Any advice is appreciated. If I cant figure it out then my next stop is taking it to the pro's but I was hoping to fix it myself lol to go easy on my wallet. Thanks

What kind of H/U? What did you ground to and how long is the wire?

Are your amps lying directly on any metal? Where did you ground? Good and clean connections? What kind of head unit do you have?

I have a pioneer 7900ub headunit and the ground wire is less then 2 feet and grounded near the frame where a crossbar connects in the trunk. I took a sander and made sure the metal was bare and the connections are clean and the amps are not touching any metal.

Ground the RCA's at the headunit. Do NOT ground the RCA's at the amp.

You can also try grounding the HU to a different spot behind the dash instead of the existing harness. This stopped a lot whine with Pioneer headunits.
