Need some advice.

I know absolutly nothing about speakers. I know my stuff when it comes to subs and amps since i have 2 12 inch aq's and a mb quart amp. Anyways im looking to upgrade my door speakers. I want them to get louder to were you can hear the music over the bass and clear. I currently have a aftermarket HU also soif i just get new door speakers will the volume increase or would i have to add a amp to them? What can i expect to get with $150? What are some good yet cheap brands?

you'll need to amp them to notice a difference in volume.

for 150, you could get some Pioneer TS D1720cs, or Boston Acoustics S, SE, or maybe SC line. or you could go used.

also if youre just into loud and clear and not interested in staging and all, you may want to run coaxs in rear too.
