Hey, I've been browsing this board for some time now but I've finally made an account. Anyways, I was hoping I could get some advice on a combination of things I'll soon be buying...
My budget for subs, amp, front and rear speakers, plus the wiring/enclosure is $600. Currently I just have an Alpine 9855 (taken from my old car; 2 12" 2003 Type Rs in a ported box, Rockford Fosgate 500.1BD Power amp, some old infinity reference speakers in the front, and some Alpine 6x9s in the back).
I'm thinking about getting...
-(2) 12" Infinity Kappa Perfect 12.1
-Infinity Ref. 611a amp
-Boston Acoustics SX65 for front speakers (still thinking about components if it's within my price range)
-Infinity Reference 6012si for rear speakers
I still need wiring and a sub enclosure. I'll probably be buying the majority of this stuff off of
ebay. If somebody will make a recommendation or tell me what's flawed about this setup please let me know... I'd be really thankful. I'm still new to car audio so I wouldn't be surprised if something up there was just plain stupid. Thanks again in advance. Also, if it helps, the car is a 2005 Lancer ES and I'm mainly looking for SQ.
