finally finished putting my computer together tonight, only to find out the the old copy of xp wont work with my new processor. so ima need to buy an upgraded version of microsoft xp. should i:

a) go to compusa in the morning and pick up the xp home version for $100 (theres other stuff i need to pick up anyways while i'm there)

or

b) buy the same thing from newegg for $13 cheaper http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16832116056

i could save a little bit of money, but what would you do? is it worth it you think?

i'd go w/ comp USA because for 13 bucks it would be better just to have a store there just incase the copy didn't work

\plus do you really want to wait for it to ship?!?!

and do you to costco, its cheap there

definately better to have a local return spot

why doesnt your old copy work? bootleg?
well kinda, its from another computer we bought like 3 years ago. when i was messing with the bios and setup, it said some of the stuff wasn't compatible with the x2 processor. so i have to update to a newer year. microsoft has us by the nuts //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
