I got this enclosure from a friend of my father last week. It was sitting in his garage for I don't know how long. Judging by the style of the subs and enclosure, my guess would be mid-late 90's? Anyway, since I am trying to sell my current subs + amp, I figured I'd hang onto the Rockford enclosure for a bit in case I can find a cheap amp and throw it all back in my TC. When I went to hook it up to my amp, the rubber surround on the subs disintegrated into nothing (assume they are dry-rotted). My question is, is the enclosure worth keeping if I just throw some replacement subs in it? Or is it so outdated that it isn't worth it?
Also, I see it has some tweeters and horns on the front also. Does that mean there is a built-in crossover inside and I can run the amp with the filter on full?
Thanks in advance.
