Need some 12" sub suggestions

Looking for a nice pair of 12's that can get LOUD but still sound good.....it will b goin in a explorer so i have plenty of space to go ported.....go ne suggestions.....budget is hmm lets say 450-500 for both

Out of left field......DLS Reference MW112's Excellent SQ subs, especially in a ported enclosure. Magnesium cones. Don't need a gob of power to run. Sweetness. The Iridiums are incredible too, but more $$$

Look into some JL audio's. Great SQ, and they can get loud.

i relaly want 2 subs that can get really loud off hmm lets say bout 1200 watts r so....12's or 15's would work......what yall think bout the 15" se's?

go with 1 boston acoustic G5, 400 bucks and throw it in a ported box, throw over 500 watts at that sucker and it'll be louder than most PAIRS of 12's in the 200-250 dollar price range. i heard it vs. 2 12W3's and it was noticeably louder...not to mention cleaner.
