Need Serious 10" sub?

I really like how the tc 10 oem looks! but I only have 9" of mounting depth to work with //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Realizing I only have a zx750.1 to power, which would be a better match an:

Fi. SSD or Tc 1000 ? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

How about a TC10 OEM
*I only read the title, so I don't know if this has been suggested or ruled out already.
Yeah, Ive thought about it but only have a kicker zx750 at the time. I just sold all my big amps, soo... I hate to under power a sub like that

Umm...

The TC10 OEM is only 800w RMS and is available with dual 4-ohm coils. The ZX750.1 is rated for 750w at 2 ohms, and kicker generally underrates their amps a bit. Do you have a birthsheet for the amp? Even if it only puts out rated power, you won't notice a 50w difference. Throw the sub in a ported box and it will be even less of an issue.

My 12" Brahma was rated at 600 watts rms. However in a small sealed box I was able to feed it 1200 clean watts all day no prob.

ya do have a good point though... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

Just because it CAN take more wattage doesn't mean it NEEDS more wattage.
From what Ive heard by happy customers and TC reps, The 10 eom has a very stiff suspention and they feed for power.

Truth be told one could expect better results from a more efficient "lesser" sub over-powered then a better under-powered driver. This is such a common error, guys buy the most badazz sub they can afford and underpower it, wondering why there old cheapo 200 watt sub wanged.

I an seriously considering a tc-10 oem, I just dont want to be tempted to buy a new amp later on is all //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
