I recently purchased a 1996'ish Orion 225HCCA amp (w/ crossover built-in) and have been unable to find an owner's manual online. Can anyone help out? I was able to find simple manuals with specs and crossover details for the entire HCCA line in this era, but an owner's manual would be much better.

I borrowed a picture from the web to show the exact model I have as I'm too lazy to dig mine out of its current location.

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

I only have one copy so I can't send you one. If it turns up in the garage, I'll try to scan it.
I appreciate the offer, but let me see if Revrider has one before you go through the trouble....

I'll look around when I have a chance.
Thanks. I'm picking up some 250HCCA's from a guy who used to own a Car Stereo shop, so I'll check with him as well to see if he has one. When I find one, I'll find a place to host it online so others can have access to it as well.

Does anyone know if this series Orion HCCA amp is capable of tri-mode operation (stereo and mono simultaneously)? I was hoping to find this in the manual, but still have been unable to locate one.

I have the one-sheet "technical brief" with the X-over settings for different configs. It appears I need one additional by-pass card to use this amp in full-range mode. My amp has one SLF-1 and one by-pass card, which according to the chart is giving me a 12dB x-over slope. Dual SLF-1's would yield a 24db slope and dual by-pass cards yield full range output.

Here's a pic of my actual amp:

It has an internally inverted channel meaning that it is capable of running tri-mode. Yes you will need to find bypass cards to do it. I have enough for all my amps but I can't part with them.
Thanks for the info. I'll keep my eye out for another 225HCCA "flip top" amp, then I could use one w/ (2) SLF-1's for 24dB slope x-over and put both by-pass cards in the one I want to use tri-mode. The 250HCCA's I'm getting are the "R" model, which I believe has the built-in variable x-overs (and won't have the by-pass or SLF-1 cards). I've not seen either the by-pass or SLF-1 cards for sale on eBay in the past 6 months. Anyone? I only need the by-pass card...

I know some of the early HCCA's need the external bridging module. Was the "digital reference" the first series of HCCA amps to have internal bridging capabilities?

I finally got one of these manuals...I also got some info about running the 225HCCA in full range mode w/o a bypass module. It involves setting the jumpers. BIG thanks to Robot Underground for the manual and other details. I'll be glad to share the manual if anyone needs it. Pay it forward.
