Start off by saying I have a 350z with a avic D3 H.U, dual jl10w6 newer models. wired @ 1ohm Hifnics brutus newer on i forgot the model=
1600 mono for the subs and a zeus 600 for mids and highs. When I originally got the second amp install I wanted to upgrade the wiring to 4 awg but the idiot said the amps are way over rated so he talked me into sticking with the 8 awg which was a big mistake...the fuse holderunder the hood melted along with burnt power cables in three different spots..So I decided to upgrade to a kicker 0/1 awg kit..next thing is my subs are in a zenclosure which is 1.4 cubft airspace sealed and the reccomended airspace from th factory is .5 -1.0 but people are constantly teling me the box is too small and thatswhy the subs are develpoping hair line cracks in the cones..the box fits under the reccomended size so idk... I originally started investigating this because to me my set up should be hitting alot harder than it is. Sounds nice but should be hitting harder will the upgrade in the wiring make a big difference and should i stick with the box i have. Thanks guys
