Head unit Problems.

I have a Kenwood kdc-515s H/U . It gets power, Plays Cds and all. Everything works, But Theres no sound coming from the speakers.

If i Change the Settings, I can here beeps and shit coming from the speakers, but Theres no music.

Also. I have a Clarion Deck, That isn't getting power at all.

Does anyone know what could be wrong with them?

Improper wiring OR the head unit may have an internal mute function. Mine did and it wouldn't play music when I first got it, that pissed me off and it took the guys at Best Buy like 10 minutes to figure it out. I'm Pretty positive that its not the wiring.

What would be the internal mute function? Any idea on how to fix/solve it?

It'd be a feature on your stereo, look through all the menu options.
