Its hard to beat the R for cheap, reliable SPL.

SPL doesn't matter to me, so that part is irrelevant.

Depends on your goal. The ARRRGHs are geared more towards getting loud. The Type Xs are "SQ" drivers. I can't tell you what's best unless you tell us what you want.
