Im wanting to do some testing on the lanzar vibe 1200.1 amp. I know that the newer ones are good, but im pretty much clueless to the performance of the older ones are, and the reliability of them. I will be buying 2 brand new 1200.1s of the older models since they are so cheap, and do some testing of them at 1 ohm.

Ive searched for some reviews, but didnt have much luck with that. What do you all think. Are these worth the testing. Who knows if I like it Ill keep it, but its almost 2 cheap to be true.

i dont care what u guys say. i have owned this amp and friends of mine have owned other class d vibe amps....and for the money they have great performance/value.... period

yes u can hear a differance in higher level amps but those come with a higher price tag....for 130 shipped bnib with warranty there are not many amps out there that u can beat for that price.. ihave done testing on these amps and they do 1100w rms at 1 ohm... which is **** close to the 1200w rating. look up some reviews of this amp and you'll see that in the BUDGET CATAGORY of sub amps its the best. granted i'd take and orion, mtx, us amp, memphis, or yada yada yada over this lanar any day...but then ur talking about doubleing the price..... shit i paid 210 shipped for mine i felt like i was getting a great deal with its performance.... lanzar is made by the same parent company as pyle legacy pyrimid and pyle pro...but there's somethign differant about the lanzar class D amps (cant say much about thier other amps, they kind ****) and the vibe series is great. first sub amp i ever owned... very very reliable...

also they run very cool and efficent...something not many 1 ohm amps i have seen do.....

I thought that may have been a misprint. I heard it was 1200 rms @ 1 ohm, not max. O well i guess. thankx

That review was for the new lanzar vibe amp. Im talking about the older ones. Well I guess ill stay away from it then since everyone seems to hate it.

A few years ago the the Lanzar vibe 1200 was very popular as a budget amp, the current trend is to poo-poo anything without a popular brand name.

It is indeed a good purchase and I don't think you will regret buying it, don't spend extra money when you don't need to.

lanzar makes decent amps, I had the vibe 1000 watt (probably like 700-800 RMS @ 1 ohm, don't remember exactly) and it moved my 12" memphis rebuilt into a 15 by RE pretty nicely.
