Dei 1100D and nakamichi pa-8001

i have the choice of getting the dei 1100d or the viper d1200.1 for around 200 bucks each. ive been hearing good reviews on them and the bad ones were just out of spite. But, being in near delirioum i was wondering, being very concious on my budget, if the nakamichi amp would be worht the extra 100 dollars. it has the rating 800 watts rms @ ohms but i dont know if thats at 12 or 14V? how much do you think its underrated?

Concept is preaty decent level amp, but i would have to go with the DEI over the Concept.

Go for a USAmps Merlin MD1 wich will do 1200w

Go to http://www.usamps.com and find a local dealer if not call your closest dealer and order them from there, trust me you wont be disappointed.

Well, you will need to call in and find out, but get something thats worth it even if you have to wait a little more.

Yeah, the IS line is their budget line but it will still meet the rated rms, hence, all of their amps are CEA-2006 compliant.

You guys aren't getting my point. Chinny was recommending US Amps to someone who is need of a budget amp. When I think of a budget amp, US Amps isn't on my list. They are high end equipment that normally come with a highend price tag.

Again, im not trying to fight or anything man im just poiting something out, you get what you pay for and every company has their budget line and their "up there" line, for example, Hifonics and their budget line "Brutus" and their "up there" line the "Generation XX" line... just like USAmps and others. The "IS" line being USAmps's budget line that will STILL do its rated power. I dont think how you can comment on this without knowing the prices, maybe you do because maybe you own one of these amps, but my best comment would be to call and find out for yourself and find out how much they are. USAmps is nothing less than Quality per dollar.

thanks chinny. ive heard nothing but great reviews for us amps and it is truly the ideal bang for the buck but my situation kinda changed to worse when i got a speeding ticket today going only 5 mph over. They are killing us down here in socal. i guess my only options right now is the concept cc-d1200 or the dei/viper 1100d/d1200.1. How do these amps compare? thank though wish i could get the merlin but my budget is way too limited by now .

well... Merlin is WAY outa yer budget hehe umm check out the IS lines (the budget line) by them. IMO it is THE best bang for your buck amp. I had an IS 4085 in my friends car pushin 2 coaxes and 2 idqs, and it pushed the IDqs better than my viper 1200.1.

one thing though, the is line only has mono at bridged at 4 ohms. im getting a dvc 4 ohms sub. (avalanche) and this amp is just for the sub.
