Hi guys, i have a 2007 Ford Taurus, and i believe the stock alt provide 105-110 amps, i have a stock battery and 0 gauge CCA wiring.

Im running 500w rms with two alpine Type S subs, and i was wondering if i could upgrade to two type R 12's or 15"s even, how many Rms can my stock system hold, and what are your recommendations as to accomplish this. Maybe upgrade alt? (btw my lights dim, very very little though)

All i can offer is my setup to give u an idea of perhaps what u can get by with till someone else answers.

i have a 136amp alt, regular battery, im running 4 gauge wire, 870w rms and no dimming or problems
