Need opinion on a good sub for PPI bk1800

I've got a ppi bk 1800, 94 crown vic, just blew the twelves I had. Looking to switch to a single sub

for less than 500$.

You can get a really nice sub for that kind if cash. But you'll end up needing more amp power to push the sub

Well I was thinking either an hcca 15, an fi sp418, I like that soundqubed too but all I see on the site is dual 1 ?

Scratch the hcca. The fi will take a month or two before you see it How much power are you gonna put to it ?

Just the 1800 for now, I just want something high end so I can upgrade later

No I under stand. There's some nice new and used subs in classifieds here Or you can get a custom built one from one if the sub builders. Or just buy a new one from one if the vendors like myself

HCCA is nice enough, but they're not all they're cracked up to be and recone parts may or may not be obtainable if you ever need them. If you could grab one used for 350 or so jump on it, but at MSRP they're not nearly worth it.
