2006 Crew Cab HD Silverado

Head: PIONEER PREMIER FH-P800BT / RMS: 4x22 Watts MAX: 4x50 Watts

Front: Infinity Kappa 60.9cs / 2-90 watts RMS (270 watts peak) @ 2OHMS

Rear: Pioneer TS-A1702C / 2-50 watts RMS power range (230 watts peak) @ 4 OHMS

Sub Box 2) 10" Downfire. 0.55 Cu Vol. per sub..

Subs: 2) KICKER 10" SOLO-CLASSIC SUBWOOFER 09S10C2 (2 OHMS) or 09510C4 (4 OHMS)

Subs recommend 0.66 Cu Vol. But are described as designed for small enclosures.

1-Would insulation inside help this? If so what do i need to use?

2-Being downfire tight box which OHMS 2 or 4? What are the sound differences?

3-What AMP/AMPS would match perfectly without chance of blowing the speakers?

4-Will the pioneers being 2 OHMS and infinity's 4 OHMS be an issue?

5-With the deck only having 2 pre-amp outputs mean i will have to have the 4 door speakers on front and the subs on rear?

Thanks for anyone willing to explain all this to me being new to this, i don't want to pay store prices but will have it all installed by a professional. I have too many "know it all" friends to ask them i want a professional opinion on all this and i am positive there are plenty of those on here. Thanks again.

Without the 3 pre-amp outputs will i have the ability to completely MUTE the subs in case i just want door speakers? If i can use this deck for that how would you go about setting it up this way?

Go for 2 ohms. There is no difference between 2 and 4 ohms, in the sound, the only difference is the wiring options. Obviously having 2 ohms will allow you to have more power, for less.

As for dampening in the box, it doesn't matter. You wont know much difference for that setup. My old Pioneer, 400wrms, was in a box with no dampening and sounded awesome (sealed).

For q3, 4, 5, tell me how many amps you plan to have? Do you want to amp all 4 mid's, and the sub? Or run the 4 mids from the head unit, and only power the sub from a mono block?
