need nice 8" subs for my JL micro 8.2

I need a nice set of 8" tight subs for my JL micro proted box. the originals came with the 8.0W0's. I bought a set of stage-2 RF punchs and having afterthoughts. What would be a good clean tight sub for the small ported box?

I have 4.5" mounting depth with MDF spacer rings installed. I was looking at the CDT Ef-8's.

Any help welcome. I had a 10" L7 and it was just way too muddy for me, I had it in a street bass ported box, took up way too much room in my hatch. I want a nice clean tight sound.
