Need Name of REPUTABLE high amp alternator company

Just make sure when you get your alternator installed that you upgrade the positive and negative cables with 0 gauge or else you will risk frying your stock cables or worse. Preferably you should already have the Big 3 done before you install the alternator

Usually the alt will come with an upgraded 0/1 cable power terminal and the little regulator stops it from frying anything else no?

Some alternators come with the cable but usually you will have to buy one separately. Most alternators will come with a built in voltage regulator unless you specify that you will put an external one of your own

Just as a precaution you should upgrade the cable. Most cars use 6 or 8 gauge that may get hot enough to melt down
Ya ok I dunno all I know is my new alt came with a plug. You attach the two wires from the plug to the terminals of the plastic thing that was on the back of the old alt. and nothing else needed to be done the wires that come off that black box go to my big fuse panel under ye hood.
