Need more speedy kick drums , less sloppy rap bass.

so i got my 15's sold and once payment is rendered i will be in the under 200 dollar market for a nice sub , able to handle up to 1KW , no bigger than a 12. I need one that plays great in a sealed box , because ported boxes just arent cutting it in my car. My brothers DCON's sound amazing in his truck but are lacking in my trunk. They play deeper , AND higher in the truck. They just sound sloppy in my trunk. So i guess i'm looking for a strict SQ sub?? I need the ability to get LOOOWW , but still have the speed to play speedy double bass drums like a machine gun shooting off.

And BTW i need a total load of 4 ohms. Amp will be a RF 801S.

Speedy sub you say? 5 1/4" woofas are pretty fast.

This old setup of mine can do 180Hz bass slap no problem, they friggin ROCKED... box is twice too big but holy hell the bass snapped super fast.

i don't need 180hz though. i'm talking 40-60hz thats not sloppy. The 180hz range is already covered. LOL.

what kinda motors should i look for? like if they were originally for a spl type sub could they be turned into a more SQ oriented driver?

They could. I would look for something that normally handles between 750-1000 watts. All ya need is the motors, and tell em what ya want. He will flange ya right up.
