i just bought my 3rd infinity kappa perfect dual 4 ohm voice coils subwoofer and the 2 i had were wired in 4ohm on my fosgate p8002 amp and it knocked pretty good, but does anyone have an amp in mind that would push enough power for a 1ohm load to these 3 woofers???or a 2.67 ohm but i prefer 1 =)

on a side note.. with that amp.. you were putting about 200 watts rms per sub and they are rated at 400 rms per sub so maybe put more power on each sub this time to really unlock their potential.

i could be wrong but I don't think its possible to wire 3 dual VC 4ohm subs to 1ohm. So that only really leaves 2.6ohm set up. Now, those speakers are rated at 400rms so that means you want about 1200rms @ 2.6 ohms or close to it to really get the best out of them. So if it were me.. i would get the Infinity Reference 1211a amp... but that's my opinion about it.
