Need mono amp for Infinity Perfect12 VQ

Hey guys,

I need suggestions for an amp to power my Infinity Perfect12 VQ. For the record, it's rated at 400W RMS @ 4 ohms. Any and all suggestions will be appreciated!

I have had various amps on mine, any amp that is 350 to about 650 rms is good. I have had a profile 600msx which worked well, also a mtx 250d which worked well also. Currently i have an infinity 611a which is 657 watts at 2ohms and it is really loud. I contacted a person at infinity and they said it could easily take that. Mtx 250d's can be had all day on ebay for way less than $100.

Thanks...Any other suggestions? Any thoughts on the Kicker amps or the JBL CTO601.1 II?

Someone told me the Infinity amps had a greater chance of distortion. Any truth to that?

The PG Xenon is another amp that I'm considering.

Between the JBL and the PG which would you choose?

good either way. Many people say power is power, and those are both good brands.

Well...think I've decided on an all JBL amp setup. Gonna go with the JBL GTO601.1 II to power the Perfect12 VQ.

I might have gone with the Phoenix Gold Xenon 400.1 but they are just so hard to find now and I wanted something that's still currently available via retail.

I have a Rockford Fosgate P600.1bd hooked up to my Perfect12, plenty of power and I paid $189 for the amp
