need mids that get low.........

help out short-dude adio........ what would u recommend?? right now i have the crystal SSC6C comps powered by a diamond 400.4. i had the doors absolutely deadened and sealed, mids baffled with additional clay. bass below 70Hz is horrible!! ripped off some of the deadner and they still sound exactly the same. they are wire in phase, the HPF on my HU is off and the HPF & LPF on the diamond were turned all the way down. nothing different. turned the LPF on the diamond........ NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i need mids that get low low. if u didn't have a sub, but u needed bass, what comps or mids would u pic??

FYI I meant 10's 3-way active... Not sure how well a 10 would match to a tweeter playing midrange.

there ok they dont dominate like what hes lookin for. the kicker SS comps sound like a couple of 8" subs in my guys ride, baffles and spray foam and deadner with a zx350.2 on them

There is a guy on DIYMA, hessdawg, selling Image Dynamics 6.5" mids that were OEM manufactured for $90 shipped. They are comprable to the mids from the ID comps. I just got a pair a few weeks back. They play very low. Here is a pic showing they compare to the PG RSD65cs mids I had in my car before the ID OEMs. PG on the left, ID on the right.
