need mid bass

Im going to be building a system for my wife 74 bronco and since I gotta pay for it I want it cheap as possible! Ill be using a 4 channel amp and no sub so I want as much mid bass as possible. We only listen to metal and rock so it doesnt have to boom. I was originally going to run a set of 6.5 components in the front and 6x9 in the rear. I was told to not mount them in the middle near the tunnel like I wanted cause of poor sound stage. SO, Im thinking of kickpanels cause I dont want them in the doors. Should I run a set of 8's and tweeters up front instead of 6.5 components? What brand speakers should I go with? Dont wanna spend more than $200 on the speakers less would be even better.

you can probably get away with 2 8 inch mid range/bass, and 2 tweeters

There's no REAL need for PA type speakers, something like this would be nice

So you guys think thatll give a decent amount of midrange bass? Im not sure how much interference thkse 8s will be on the floor. Id like to put a 10 in there but cant find a small 5 channel amp at a good price.

if you have a 4 channel already, look in craigslist for someone selling a small mono or 2 ch. here in the classifieds someone has spl audio 2 ch. not by means the best amp out there but for a low powered 10 that will do just fine //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
