If i have a 1.5 inch radius round over bit, and want to preserve it by using a chamfer bit to go first before using the round over bit, what's the max radius chamfer bit would i want to use that won't gouge work when using the 1.5 radius round over bits for the second round??

You can use anything from 1/2 to 3/4 since all you really want to do is take the edge off basically making it easier on the round over bit since there wont be as much stock to remove.

i was thinking 3/4 radius chamfer as well, just wanted to double check that 3/4 would work and won't cause a mark on the center of the roundover...

thanks
