4 15s in back seat sealed vs trunk

im picking up 4 15" dei competition subs and im pretty sure the box is to tall for my trunk so i plan on putting them in the back seat directely behind me. I've seen a few spl oriented setups like this but my temp set up (2 old school rockford power 10's ported) i noticed a decent drop in spl n sq movin it from the trunk but i feel it more in my back seein how its right there.

i could build a box in a couple weeks but wanted to know how you all felt about subs in the cabin. btw the car is a 91 mercury cougar (same as thunderbird)

I really think you are gonna have a hard time fitting 4 15's in the trunk of a cougar with a proper enclosure also
