I don't think it looks half bad other than the color. Paint that green trim white and put some bushes where all of those leaves are.

I would...........

1. Install an overhang with door outwards.

2. Install a patio, with path to house

3. Install hot tub on patio

4. Add shrubbery and other plantings to make it pretty

5. Grab beer and sit in hot tub

lol yeah, weather was great today so i did some yard work, had a crap ton of tree limbs all over my yard from a bad freeze earlier this year. that lil chainsaw is pretty badass...
