Need Installation help for 97 Saturn SL2

I am trying to do my own install in a Saturn SL2 but I am stuck on one step...I am trying to make a clean install and run both the audio and power under the carpet to and from the amp...I cannot for the life of me figure out how to take off the plastic door jamb PICTURE that holds down the carpet. Does anyone know how to take it off without destroying it? Its kinda flimsy and don't wanna break it...Thanks for your time -Viva

Should just pull off. That's how my kicks came off.

Maybe if u pull hard enough. Most panels are like that, hard to pull off...
