If I were to buy the Audio Control EQX-II, would it still be better for me to add a LC6 or LC8 to that or would that improve my SQ good enough?

Thanks, I'm just wondering if the LC8 does certain tuning to my HU that with an EQX-II I wouldn't manually be able to do? Maybe that's explained a little easier. Or maybe the LC8 gives me better signals and voltage for better sound, flattens out the eq of the HU, and with an EQX I could just fine tune it? I just don't wanna spend an extra $150 if I don't have to unless it'll make a clear difference.
